April is full of uncertainty. One day it feels like summer and the next you need to put the heating back on. Supermarkets are trying to flog their new stocks of barbecue gear and pastel-coloured transparent salad bowls. Last week it was time to hang the coats back in the winter part of the wardrobe but my short tweed jacket is not quite enough to face the cold mornings.
Still, it's a great time to be out and about again (and actually enjoying being out!) and plant the seeds of what we may reap in the summer, whatever it may be for each of us.
2015 might just be the year we manage to find a house that we like in an area we like, and most importantly at an affordable price. Fingers crossed.
Avril est un mois plein d'incertitude. Un jour on se croirait en été et le lendemain il faut remettre le chauffage en route. Les supermarchés tentent de vendre leurs nouveaux stocks de barbecue, saladiers tranparents aux couleurs pastel et tout le toutim. La semaine dernière on a remis les gros manteaux dans la partie hiver de notre armoire mais ma petite veste en tweed n'est pas tout à fait assez chaude pour les matins frais.
Cela dit, c'est une chance d'être dehors et de l'apprécier et de planter les graines de ce qu'on récoltera cet été, quoi que ce soit pour chacun d'entre nous.
En 2015 on va peut-être enfin réussir à trouver une maison sympa dans un endroit qui nous plait, et surtout à un prix raisonnable. On croise les doigts.
